The Coalition of Independents Women’s Association (also known as the COI Women Association) is the Women strong arm of the Coalition of Independents Party. Every female member of the party may be eligible for membership in the COI Women’s Association in accordance with the procedures for admission of members as outlined in the Constitution of the Association The COI Women’s Association seeks to enrich the quality of life of women throughout the Commonwealth of The Bahamas politically, culturally, economically and socially.
Objectives and Activities:
The COI Women’s Association is an alliance of diverse individuals working for and passionate about women’s empowerment. The Association provides the platform for all female COI members to develop their political knowledge and skills while contributing to the politics, policies and activities of the Party. The Women's Association is a vital component of the Coalition of Independents, providing unique opportunities for women to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact in their communities. Through this association, the Coalition ensures that the voices of the women are heard and their contributions are valued in building a better future.

- Inspire the next generation of female leaders through our passion and consistency
- Facilitate the political education of members
- Represents the COI Women Association on national level at events
- Spearheads successful fundraising efforts
- Engage the communities with outreach programs to change the lives of women facing adversity. Work with children in the community, and in their schools.
Governance:
- Constitution: The CYA is governed by a Constitution approved by the Central Council of the Party. This document stipulates the aims and objectives of the Association, procedures for membership, election of officers, and general guidelines for conducting its affairs.
- Leadership: The youth members elect their officers, who are responsible for leading the Association in line with its objectives and ensuring the effective implementation of its programs.
