Party Executive Nomination

    The process for nominating individuals for National Executive positions within our organization is outlined below. This structured approach ensures that nominations are conducted fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the rules set forth by our party. To nominate a person or to be nominated, one must adhere to the following guidelines:

    Membership Requirement:
      - Nominees, nominators, and individuals seconding a nomination must be fully paid-up members of the party.

    Nominee Acceptance: 
      - All nominees must formally accept their nomination to be considered eligible.

    Nomination Day and Time Frame: 
      - Nominations and acceptances must occur on Nomination Day, Saturday, April 6th, 2024, between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM.

    Eligibility for Leadership Positions: 
      - Nominees for Leader and Deputy Leader positions, which are governmental roles, are required to have at least applied to be a candidate the forthcoming general election.

    Deputy and Vice Chairman Selection:
      - If nominated for Deputy or Vice Chairman positions, the individual with the highest number of votes will assume the role of Deputy Chairman. The subsequent three nominees with the most votes will be appointed as Vice Chairmen.

    Trustee Selection: 
      - The three nominees receiving the highest number of votes for the position of Trustee will be appointed as trustees.

    Disqualification Criteria:
      - Nominees, nominators, or seconders who are known to be members or supporters of another political organization will be disqualified. The party reserves the right to reject any nominations based on this or other criteria.

    Single Nomination Limitation: 
      - An individual can only be nominated for one specific position within the party's National Executive.

    This nomination process is crucial for the democratic functioning of our party, allowing members to have a say in who represents them at the National Executive level. It is designed to be fair and transparent, with specific rules in place to ensure that all nominees are eligible and properly vetted. We encourage all eligible members to participate actively in this process, whether by nominating, being nominated, or supporting nominations, to contribute to the strength and direction of our party.
